Easley, SC (July 29, 2017) – Last night the City of Easley welcomed the 12 baseball teams from around the world to their town. Hundreds of people came out to witness Fan Fest in Old Market Square of downtown Easley. Many food vendors set up booths which filled the amphitheater with mouthwatering aromas. The teams arrived in buses and paraded through the square. The drumline that was playing was nearly drowned out by the cheering from the town. Every young man’s face was glowing with pride as they marched behind the amphitheater stage. The audience scrambled around looking for a place to sit to watch. Before the teams walked onto the stage the Mayor and the City Council of Easley were recognized and a loud cheer was let out to thank them. After that, each team was brought across the stage one by one so that everyone in attendance could get a look at their faces. While the teams were on the stage young Easley cheerleaders ran across the front with the team’s flag.

When every team was finished, the dueling piano show from “Jack and Diane’s” in Greenville, SC came out and put on an amazing performance. The two piano players took requests then sang and played countless songs before the night ended.

Thank you City of Easley for allowing us to use your space! We also want to extend a huge thank you to Lindsey Cunningham for organizing the event! Lindsey was moving around the event non-stop trying to keep things running smoothly and she did a phenomenal job! The hard work paid off because everyone in attendance seemed to have a great time!
